I have always been a mover. From the age of 5 I began dancing, and by the age of 16 I was teaching dance and studying for my Teaching Diploma in Dance.
Alongside this passion to move, I have always been fascinated by the kinesiology of movement, how the human body functions and what keeps us healthy and injury free.
This love of the human body led to a Bachelor of Nursing Degree, study with Yoga Medicine and now a passion for Chinese Medicine and Myofascial release.
Between Yoga and Dance I have been teaching for 20+ years, students aged 4 to 75, public classes, workshops and privates, abled bodied and those with Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis or various injuries.
But life is not always a box of chocolates for me. I have suffered from anxiety and depression since I was 20 and it was not until I found Yoga that I had something to bring me through the darker times. Its made me calmer, less anxious, & given me the tools to stay positive, as well as improving my confidence and self esteem.
I want to share these tools with YOU.
I love to share my passion, to help others lead a more healthy lifestyle and to realise their full potential.
I want to help YOU be all you can be. To let go of the negative self talk, to create strength and courage you never knew you had. To breathe better, walk taller and feel fantastic.
